Tomio and Amie's Reception
In September, I had the pleasure of taking pictures of Tomio and Amie's wedding reception!
Tomio and Amie are a lively, fun-loving couple and their reception was absolutely beautiful.
In honor of Tomio's heritage, a Samoan dancer performed the Taualuga, better known as the "money dance!"
What an exciting night it was!
I am so thankful I was able to be a part of Tomio and Amie's celebration!

Sarah's Bridal Portraits
In July, I had the opportunity to create engagment photos for a fantastic couple!
Sarah and Joe were so natural in front of the camera, and their images turned out beautiful.
So, I was very excited when Sarah called me again in September wanting to surprise Joe on their wedding day with bridal portraits.
Of course, she didn't want just any bridal portrait.
She wanted to be next to a B-1 Bomber!
So we got day passes for Dyess Air Force Base and took pictures while Joe was in a class.
I love being in on a surprise!
Here are a few of my favorites:
I have been itching to share these since I first heard Sarah's idea!

Chris and Brittanie Family
Avery was a fireball of energy, but didn't mind hamming it up for the camera with her sister.
Chris and Brittanie are a wonderful couple, full of love and laughter, and I truly enjoyed the time spent with this family!

PPGA - Shelby Lane
At the Professional Photographers Guild of Abilene (PPGA) meeting last night, we were very lucky to have Shelby Lane as our guest speaker!
Shelby is an incredibly talented children's photographer based in New Braunfels, Texas.
You can see some of her amazing work here: http://shelbylane.net/
She inspired me to create my own blog, and I am very excited to get started!
